"But the minute you saw it was me you relaxed and smiled. "You were sitting on the porch and we watched the sun come up, same as every day, but that time I took you by surprise and you were startled." I fell in love with you on Monday." Daniel whispered. :P) I was super excited when both MC wanted it.īut you know what really got me into a fucking pile of girl gelatinous goo of pink sighs and squeals(doesn't happen as often as you'd think)? (Upside Down by Diana Ross in case you were wondering- I know you were so I figure I just let you know. Plus the sex.can I tell you every time I come across a switch in MM, disco music plays in my head. The characters are all hurt-y and need comfort-y and I likes, damn it! However, this book is better than #1 in my opinion. The author laid a great foundation in book #1. You know that barely there angst, like lower than a quiet simmer type of angst. It delivered enough FEELS without making me curl up in a ball, begging for hugs like they were going out of style. For less than 100 pages I know not to expect major depth but this story is pretty solid. I love a good number of themes in my romance and this book has a favorite of mine: damaged hero a la PTSD abuse survivor Luke.
